Chapter 2, 3, and 4: Chapter 2 of Cooperative Learning explains the needs for cooperative learning techniques. It is needed so that students learn how to be respectful and cooperate better.Chapter 3 is about positive outcomes of cooperative learning. The positive outcomes consist of boosting the childrens self esteem, improve social skills, and creates self direction. Chaspter 4 was over the six key concepts of cooperative learning. These six key concepts are teams, cooperative management, will to change, skill to cooperate, basic principles, and structures. The most important concept to me is will to cooperate, because when working with young children, they have a mind set where if they dont want to do something, they feel the need to take their own command, so I believe that willl to cooperate is the most important, for the children have to be willing to be invovled in cooperative learning.

To finish off my great semester cadeting, I am reading Cooperative Learning by Spencer Kagan.
Chapter 1: Ten Frequent Questions.. In this chapter, I have learned that cooperative learning teaches kids how to work together and also gain skills in future communication with employees, bosses, and acquaintances while having to work together affectivly. Students who are involved in cooperative learning gain the ability to have ideas of their own, yet ideas within a group where ideas can be put together and debated upon. Students are encouraged to help eachother and treat eachother with respect and kindness. Lastly, cooperative learning teaches students to work with those whom they may not care for, but have never given the chance, but with a new outlook and the teacher's techniques the students become more open to expand their friendships and succeed in their group!
